Acne Tips

Here is a list of practical things you can sometimes do on a daily basis to fight and reduce acne problems.

1. It's always a good idea to avoid picking, squeezing, scratching, or even rubbing your skin; such actions will only worsen your acne problem, and, in some cases, may cause scarring.

2. Shampoo your hair regularly. Also,  try to keep your hair from your face,  especially at night.

3. Maintain a food diary to learn if you are in fact one of those rare few individuals whose acne becomes worse when eating particular foods.

4. Exercise regularly in order to keep the blood flowing; afterwards, take a shower.

5. Avoid touching your face when it's unnecessary.

5. If it's within your power, try to cut down on your stress levels.

6. Keep yourself whenever possible from getting sunburned.

7. Each day change your wash cloth, for bacteria may grow on wet cloth.

8. Twice daily wash your face with a gentle soap.

9. Always rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.

10. Only on special occasions wear makeup; when you do, remove it completely.

11. Granular facial scrub may worsen acne by aggravating the skin.
